The Ultimate Dog

"Tru" is the ultimate 'goose dog'. Having a dog to reduce our goose population on the golf course has been so successful this season. Tru, the Border Collie, is only 1 1/2 years old and she has quickly learned how to chase and start to herd the geese. Working with her and directing Tru to focus on the geese is a blast. The results are already recognized by the members. Something not anticipated is her popularity with members and staff. She is loved by everyone at the club. There were many alternatives to a dog for chasing geese, but I do not know of a method that can bring so much joy to so many people.
