What we do and where we do it.
Betty E. McTague at the Chiropody Clinic and Midwestern Wound Care Plus. The clinic offers an Out Patient Ambulatory Wound Care. There is a team approach to ensure Quality Care and Assessable Clinic Hours etc.
Here is a list of services we offer:
- Acute and chronic wounds
- Diabetic foot infections
- Soft tissue surgery
- Limb salvage
- Geriatric foot care
(fungus toenails, toenail infections, corns and calluses) - Heel pain
- Arthritic foot and ankle care
- Shoe modifications/diabetic insoles
- Education
Betty McTague is registered with the College of Chiropodists. She is a member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists and is actively involved in quality continuing education within the community and professional development.
Betty is a certified Vodder trained MLD therapist. Employed as an orthotist for 15 years . Member of Prescription Footwear Association.
PREVENTION
An annual screening consists of:

2. Dermatemp - heat sensitive thermography
3. ABI - ankle brachial
index doppler assessment

5. Foot Measurement - Static and Dynamic
6. Footwear Assessment
7. Patient self care review and education
