that need loving homes. All of these Dogs have been rescued from pounds or not wanted
anymore. Some are special needs Dogs and all need a place to call their own. Please help

She is great with other dogs and good with cats and kids.
History:
Britta is a 3-4 year old, spayed female Beagle/Basset Hound. She is
vaccinated including Rabies, Heartworm tested (-), de-wormed, tx Flea
Preventative and approx 30lbs.
Britta was placed up for adoption when her owner was evicted. Her house mate
Bell is also looking for a home
(they do not need to go together) and two of her other house mates have
already been adopted from 4 Legged Love.
Britta is a friendly girl, she is timid in new situations but her curiosity
often gets the best of her and draws her out to visit everyone and sniff
everything. She is great with other dogs and would be great as a second dog
or on her own, she is good with cats - wants nothing to do with them, she is
good with kids but is best suited to a home with older, calmer children
rather then toddlers. Britta is crate trained and house trained, she is
comfortable sleeping in her crate when alone and at night, she actually
prefers the security of her crate if there is a lot going on around her. She
walks nicely on a leash and like most hounds she likes to take lots of time
to sniff and smell everything around her. She does need to get a little more
used to the sights and sounds of traffic and general city life so she will
need a patient and calm owner who can motivate her with lots of praise. She
is more suited to a quieter area of the city rather then right downtown. She
likes to be petted and loves lots of attention. She takes treats nicely and
likes to cuddle.
Being a Hound Britta can never be off leash unless in a securely fenced
area. Britta needs a house with a securely fenced yard. If you can provide
Britta with a mature, relaxed house hold with time and patience please
submit your adoption application. Britta is not suitable for apartment
living and must go to a home with a fenced yard.
