We will now be featuring a Cat that needs a
loving home. All of these Cats have been rescued from pounds or not wanted anymore. Some
are special needs Cats and all need a place to call their own. Please help our Featured
Cat find a "Forever Home".
"Brody"
(Flame Point Himalayan)

Brody
Contact:
wlfletcher@netscape.ca
Brody is a 13 year old
neutered, vaccinated male with no health problems. He is a beautiful Flame
Point Himalayan. He is not declawed. He had spent his life with the same
people but sadly their very young child is severely allergic. Brody's
parents call weekly in the hopes that a home has been found for him.
Unfortunately, time is running out for Brody.
Brody needs a single pet home with no children. He does not like other
animals, including cats. His owners report that he will lay on your lap all
day but that the decision to do so must be on his terms. He is very much a
cat that needs his boundaries respected. Brody is very unhappy in the clinic
where he is surrounded by other cats and the smell of a veterinary hospital.
He has swatted at staff who have tried to touch him. I say this only so that
anyone considering Brody understands up front that they should not expect an
affectionate exchange with Brody should they come to visit or assess Brody.
Anyone who is willing to give this cat a chance would need to take him home
and give Brody the time and space he needs to become accustomed to his
surroundings and new forever parents. It probably won't happen overnight
since Brody has been through alot with losing his people and having to spend
more than a month in surroundings he dislikes so much.
If you are willing to offer a home and a chance to this poor guy, I urge you
to do so.
For further information on Brody, you can contact me directly at:

Or you can stop by the clinic
to see him in person (just remember, he probably will not let you touch him
and that if you do so you risk being swatted). The clinic does have a policy
that if it does not work out, they will want you to bring him back. Also for
specific details about adoption policy, please contact the clinic directly.
