Horse Of The Month Every month we will be featuring a horse that needs a loving home. All of these horses have been rescued from slaughter or not wanted anymore. Some are special needs horses and all need a place to call their own. All of the horses and ponies are up-to-date on all shots, de-worming and have been attended to by a Blacksmith.

Snow Health:
Excellent. UTD on Vaccinations (May 22, 2007 - Rabies, EEE, WEE, Tetanus and
WNV). He is Blind in one Eye but this does not affect him at all - he's been
that way since his previous owners purchased him. Not spooky or anything on
that side - it's normal to him. History/Training: Previous owners purchased Snow at a local fair where he was a "pony ride" pony. Since then he has been ridden occasionally for fun. Taken to shows/fairs for leadline and costume classes. He knows how to walk and trot - but does need to learn to canter. He is completely sound and has good motion. But her daughter has outgrown him considerably and she is too large to teach & finish him under saddle. The potential is there but he has not been taught. He has just been a friend to her daughter and her pet. Future/Suitability: Companion or Leadline. With training he would be a nice family pony mount .. or possibly show. He would be a great driving pony as well with training. Best suited to be ridden by children 5 yrs or younger as he is a very small pony. My 7 yr old daughter looks huge on him, Adoption Fee/Purchase Price:
$500
